Hytek A/S Ingeniører was established in 1965, since then the company has supplied more than 3000 gearboxes for marine applications. This comprises units for driving hydraulic pumps, generator drives, FiFi drives, compressor drives etc. Hytek has also made a lot of special designs i.e. for heave compensation winches with torques on gearbox shaft up to 1000 kNm
as well as test units and crane gearboxes for Norwegian North Sea offshore activities.
